Description
Michigan Technological University, located in the Upper Pennisula, Houghton MI, seeks Senior Research Engineer to perform engineering and scientific research with an emphasis on pullution prevention, green engineering and sustainability. Duties include supervising research efforts of students and staff; developing and disseminating software design tools; teaching courses at the instructor level in green engineering, sustainability and environmental engineering; developing budgets and research proposals, preparing reports and peer-reviewed manuscripts for publication. 80% of time will be spent in researching and 20% of time will be spent teaching. PhD in Environmental Engineering and one year experience in conducting research, teaching courses in sustainability and directing research activities.
