Featured Academic Program
An Academic Year in England

Randolph College (founded as Randolph-Macon Woman’s College) offers a full academic year at the University of Reading, England for both men and women. Courses are available in all the traditional liberal arts subjects, including the sciences and foreign languages. Additional classes are available in food science, agricultural economics, business, graphic design, and meterology. The program is open to college juniors and seniors, and selections is made primarily on the basis of academic promise. Strength in writing is an important consideration.

Merit-based scholarships and need-based grants are available for U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are pursuing degrees at other accredited colleges and universities that offer students federal aid. For the academic year 2007-08, the maximum award is $13,845. Loans are also available. We anticipate having some openings and have extended the application deadline to February 20.

At Reading, students live together in three houses owned by R-MWC and participate in the university’s sports, clubs, and other extracurricular activities. An on-site director and staff enhance a quality academic experience and student safety, comfort, and well-being.
